Intern with Fair Trade Campaigns – Join the team in January!

Become part of a team helping provide support for hundreds of Fair Trade advocates across the country! We are looking for two bright, enthusiastic and dedicated college students (or recent graduates) to help create a more dynamic campaign as we move forward. If you have a passion for social justice and sustainability, live in the San Francisco Bay area and are willing to commit at least 20 hours a week then consider applying to become an intern with Fair Trade Campaigns!

We are on the search for applicants to fill two positions at our Oakland, CA headquarters:

Social Media Intern:

This position will help develop and implement an integrated social media strategy to support engagement with towns and universities actively promoting Fair Trade. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to!) tracking the progress of local campaigns, helping develop targeted campaigns and coordinating communications with various partners. We are looking for someone with an extensive background with social media platforms (like Facebook and Twitter) who has strong writing, editing, research and task management skills. Grassroots Outreach Intern:

This position will help Fair Trade Campaigns with its outreach and communications efforts in support of towns and universities actively promoting Fair Trade. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to!) conducting research, calling advocates, assisting with skill trainings for volunteers, data entry, and assisting in the development and distribution of educational materials. We are looking for someone with strong writing, editing and research skills that is a confidant communicator. This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week for at least 10 weeks.
