Fair Trade Vanderbilt University

Students Against Modern Slavery at Vanderbilt is dedicated to raising awareness about human trafficking and supporting local organizations and victims by fundraising and volunteering. It is our goal to educate the people of Nashville and students of Vanderbilt by making Vanderbilt a Fair Trade University that promotes farmers and workers who are justly compensated.

Sponsor Fair Trade educational events and activities on campus and work with faculty to bring Fair Trade into the classroom.

Pass Fair Trade Resolution

Draw up a resolution that reflects the college/university’s commitment to Fair Trade and pass it through the appropriate decision-making bodies for approval.
