On May 7th and 8th Chicago Fair Trade will organize the 7th annual World Fair Trade Day Celebration. WBEZ, the NPR Chicago station, will be steaming live, too! Join us for a global market place highlighting Chicago businesses, a global action tent, live music, and of course an opportunity to learn more about how to become engaged in Chicago’s Fair Trade network! This year CFT will be focusing on fair trade apparel. With the Rana Plaza one year anniversary shortly before this event, we hope to initiate meaningful change. Chicago Fair Trade is seeking to pass a SweatFree ordinance through city hall. At the event, learn more about creating a SweatFree city!
