How should I promote events?

We’d like to see better attendance.

  1. The best way is to add them to your campaign page!

  2. Something that can really help with improving attendance is knowing the audience you want to reach when you are scheduling events or meetings. For example, if you club is looking to attract some of the same students as the Environmental Sustainability Club, don’t schedule your meetings at the same time as that club. Also never underestimate the power of snacks in attracting college students

  3. Here here to snacks! That could be a great thing. Promote the events with big posters offering free fair trade chocolate!

  4. This is Emily Z., the Fair Trade Communities Fellow. Try your campus newspaper if you have one, they might have a section to advertise campus events. A flashy flyer on campus bulletin boards or notice boards might catch people’s eyes, especially ones near the mailroom, bookstore, library, dorm common rooms, campus common rooms, cafeterias, etc.
