From Haiti – at our booth, we’ll bring Fair Trade metal wall art, “jewelry” made of ceramic and paper-rolled beads, holiday ornaments, Haiti Friend Dolls, ceramic mugs, and greeting cards made by parents getting paid fairly for their work at Papillon Marketplace. They provide training and fairly-paying jobs for parents in need. Visit our booth to learn more about Fair Trade and get Fair Trade chocolate and tea for free!
Nicollet Open Streets is a FREE outdoor event: Two Miles of Music & Magic!
Walk, bike, and roll down Nicollet Avenue on Saturday, September 28 from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. From 31st to 46th Street, it’s a two-mile celebration of our main street, with pop-up activities, live music, and fresh food and drink…all happening in your favorite community! Nicollet will be closed to car traffic, so pump up your bike tires or lace up your walking shoes to explore what’s great about Lyndale and Kingfield’s main street!
