The purpose of this annual conference is to revitalize the Vermont peace movement and focus on the financial, social, and environmental costs of war and militarism in our state and beyond. It will bring together various social justice groups and individuals interested in understanding war and how to build a world beyond it.
Speakers, workshops, panels, and actions will answer the conference’s key question: what it will take to build a world beyond war? They will do this through various focuses. We want to encourage people to participate in programming that look at this issue through a different lens then that have before.
Beata Tsosie-Peña will be the keynote speaker for the day. We are still doing outreach to put together the break-out programming. If you are interested in presenting please fill out the online form by February 6th, for this form visit pjcvt.org and look for online form under event details found in the upcoming events tab.
This day is being organized by the Peace & Justice Center, in collaboration with other member groups of the Vermont Stands for a World Beyond War Coalition.
