Chelsea Michigan is lucky to have many retail outlets offering fair trade products. We have one 100% Fair Trade store, the Global Marketplace. There you can purchase Fair Trade certified coffee, tea, hot chocolate, chocolate, and fair trade artisan products like clothing, art and jewelry, including those from Michigan businesses like Higher Grounds Coffee (Traverse City), Mindo Chocolates (Dexter) and socks from Maggies Organics (Ypsilanti). You can also find Fair Trade certified coffee and chocolates at Polly’s Country Market and the New Chelsea Market when you’re doing your grocery shopping. Locally processed Fair Trade products are also available at the farmers market in town, you can sip on fair trade coffee at fresh.roasting based out of Saline, MI.
