Claremont, CA
Claremont is nestled along the lower slopes of the San Gabriel mountains and is famous for its tree lined streets, five world renowned colleges and an abundance of family-friendly community events. It’s natural beauty, a steady diet of music, theater, lectures and art along with over a hundred unique locally owned shops, cafes and restaurants make Claremont sought after as a place to visit and a place to live.
The city became even more inviting when in April 2012 the City Council recognized the support for Fair Trade by numerous citzens, businesses and organizations and passed a Resolution making Claremont the first Fair Trade Town in Southern California.
Claremont is now a town where public spirited citizens can shop local, green and fair.
