Emerald High: A Fair Trade School in Greenwood, SC
Students at Emerald are passionate about promoting fair trade products in order to encourage their community to take a stand to help end modern day slavery. As a way to create awareness, they host a Fair Trade Coffee House every Friday in their school’s media center. Students serve coffee to fellow schoolmates as well as pass out flyers and pamphlets to help educate them on fair trade and modern day slavery.
