Fair Trade Club will have a table with a raffle to win two delicious fair trade chocolate bars and a fair trade Mayan Hands Guatemalan friendship bracelet! All you have to do to earn a ticket is learn about fair trade and why it is being introduced to Geneseo’s campus.

Geneseo Environmental Organization’s annual Earth Week will run April 21st to April 25th, with 5 different theme specific days.

Week Overview:
MONDAY: An Introduction to Sustainability
-Tabling in the MacVittie College Union, SUNY Geneseo with local businesses, sustainable education from student organizations, voter registration, and more
-Social Justice and Sustainability Panel discussion hosted by EcoHouse at SUNY Geneseo, 5-6pm in Newton 203 featuring a variety of faculty and staff.
-Screening of HOME, a documentary showing how the ecological balance of the Earth has been impacted by humans. 7pm, Newton 203

TUESDAY: Intersections
-Check out the Geneseo Environmental Organization table at the Off Campus Living Fair from 2-4pm in the Union ballroom
-Potluck with Esteban Kelly, Putnam Hall 3rd floor lounge 5-6pm

WEDNESDAY: Consumption Awareness
-Dumpster Dive and help GEO and EcoHouse sort through the trash from academic buildings and residence halls to see how well our campus recycles! 2-4pm, Union Patio
-Screening of No Impact Man, a film about a family who spend a year trying to minimize their environmental footprint while living in a NYC apartment, 7pm Newton 204

THURSDAY: Divestment
-Petitioning all over campus!!!
-Do the Math documentary screening with Divest Geneseo about the growing movement to divest from fossil fuels and a personal message from 350.org founder, Bill McKibben. 7pm, Newton 214

FRIDAY: A Positive Future :
-Visual petitioning with Divest SUNY Geneseo in the Union Lobby
-Future visions interactive banner, Union lobby, all day
-Carbon Free Concert, great acoustic performances at 5:30pm on the ISC patio
