Fair Trade Town Chapel Hill is hosting two groups soon to be certified fair trade by FTF, MamAfrica and ABAN. Both groups will be showcasing their fashions and accessories for sale as well as talking about the work they do with women in DRC and Ghana. Our Bake-Off will feature desserts made with Fair Trade ingredients made by customers and volunteers. You may pick up fair trade baking cocoa from Equal Exchange the week before the event at Ten Thousand Villages. Just submit a recipe and leave an email! All participants will receive a bar of Divine Dark Chocolate and winners, voted on by the public, will receive gift baskets of fair trade goodies!
There may even be face painting for the kiddies…stay tuned!
