Fair Trade Minneapolis joins COPAL Minnesota for the 2nd Annual Dignity and Democracy Gala! We’ll sell Fair Trade Haitian art made by parents being paid fairly in Haiti at Papillon Marketplace. We’ll donate 15% of our sales (before taxes) to COPAL Minnesota.
Established in 2018, COPAL is a member-based organization dedicated to building collective power, transforming systems, and creating opportunities for Latine families to live with dignity in Minnesota. They mobilize community members to take civic and communal action to advance positive change on issues that impact our lives every day and envision a Minnesota where we all can thrive.
Join us on October 17th at Quincy Hall in Minneapolis to celebrate their wins over the past year and discuss the importance of civic participation among all communities in preserving our democracy! The evening will feature a happy hour, dinner, program, and dancing.
5 – 6:30pm – Happy Hour and Networking
6:30 – 7:30pm – Dinner and Program
7:30 – 9pm – Dancing with Los Jornaleros del Norte
