Hello!
I was able to volunteer at a cool collaboration event organized by the Fair Trade Los Angeles (FTLA) Towns Campaign in Downtown LA (DTLA) at Peddlers Creamery who source fair trade ingredients for their ice cream churned on site using bike power (customers can ride the bike too)! It was a great opportunity to create awareness about conscious consumerism, fair trade in general and about fair trade campaigns in LA! Check out FTLA website and facebook page for more info and updates:

Thanks so much for sharing a great event from Fair Trade LA. The website is impressive. Lots of great resources and ideas there. -Vinnie
The St. John’s University (NYC) campaign has had a number of super-cool events this year: a visit/presentation from Fair Trade Campaigns reps (Kylie and Tori) to our Steering Committee, Campus Ministries regular Fair Trade Fridays Table, Workers’ Solidarity Day in April, etc.
Perhaps our best-attended, best publicized event was our April screening of Dukale’s Dream, followed by a Q&A session with director Joshua Rothstein:
