Fair trade books?

Jason Lemieux from Cardinal Stritch University July 3, 2014

We are looking for good books, movies, and otherwise to stock in our university bookstore. Does anyone have a good reading list?

  1. Hi Jason, great question!

Books: I suggest anything and everything by Vananda Shiva. While she only offhandedly mentions Fair Trade, her main focus is the environment and human rights, so she incorporates Fair Trade throughout her work as a solution. Great for well-rounded academic research. Also Brewing Justice: Fair Trade Coffee, Sustainability, and Survival by Daniel Jaffee.

    Films: Black Gold
