Fair Trade Finals

At the end of each semester, as students across the country head into final exams, we help our campaigns host one last event before break. These Fair Trade Finals events raise awareness about Fair Trade and introduce campus advocates to a variety of Fair Trade products.

High school and college students table in their cafeterias, dining halls, and other high-traffic public spaces with Fair Trade coffee, tea, chocolate and more to fuel conversations.

Dozens of schools across the country participate in the program each semester, reaching thousands of students, teachers and staff with the message of Fair Trade.

“We combined our Fair Trade Finals tabling with our Fair Trade Week events leading up to the announcement of our designation as a Fair Trade University in late May. We tabled at the last farmers market of the quarter and reached more than 200 people throughout the afternoon … It went really well and people were excited about our table and the Fair Trade products.” – UCLA

“Fair Trade Finals this fall was hosted at a large dining hall on campus. More than 2,500 students eat lunch there daily. It was great exposure for the Fair Trade campaign on our campus. Students learned about the principles of Fair Trade and sampled delicious chocolate, fruit chews, coffee and tea from the sponsors.” – Texas A&M University
