Customizable Materials Now Available for Fair Trade Towns!

Courtney Lang November 9, 2011

Imagine this storefront with a Fair Trade Towns USA window cling. Now, it can happen!

Elevate your campaign by tailoring the new Fair Trade Towns brochure, window cling, poster (available soon), table tent and stock-it card to highlight your community.

Maybe you’ve been asking us for window clings so that local retailers and organizations can flash support for your campaign to their constituencies, or brochures to put in your visitors center so that tourists can learn more about what it means to be a Fair Trade Town or City.  Well, if so, then you’re in luck and we’re excited to invite you to check out the new selection of customizable materials in the Fair Trade Towns Materials Storefront.

What does it cost and how do I order?

So, of course, the big question is, “Do I have to pay for these materials?” And, the answer is “yes.”  Although it does cost you a small amount, the return will be enormous.  Here are a few suggestions that will help you balance the cost of these materials:

  1. Fair Trade Towns Small Grant Program – Fair Trade Towns has a Small Grants Program that covers the cost of things like brochures and window clings for your campaign.  Check it out!  It’s worth your time and money.  Please contact us if you have any questions, we’d be happy to help you out and provide you with grant examples.
  2. Order in large quantities – We advice you to order in larger quantities (100 +).  This is extremely cost effective.

Take a peak at the available materials . . .

Please note that only campaigns which are registered on the Fair Trade Towns web site can customize materials.

The Fair Trade Towns window clings have been in high demand and we hope that you stock up.

This table tent will allow you to feel confident with the volunteers you've asked to man your table because you'll know that all the key messaging is right there! The information included on the table tent is "Why Fair Trade?" and "5 Steps to Success."

This stock-it card allows you to give a customized request card to any establishment, restaurant, grocery store, boutique, etc. You can specify which product you're requesting and the organization, Fair Trade Federation or Fair Trade USA, that best suites your request. The card even offers a phone number, so that the recipient can follow-up with an organization about sourcing the specific Fair Trade product.

This brochure offers potential campaign supporters and volunteers something to take away from that great conversation you had at the farmers market. Not only will you be able to customize the logo on the front page, but also the contact information so that you can direct folks to get in touch with your campaigns lead organizers or check out your campaigns web site.
