RECORDING: Fair Trade Month Event Planning Webinar

Parker Townley August 27, 2012

On August 15, Fair Trade Towns USA hosted a webinar called Fair Trade Month Planning.  With the help of two of our local lead organizers, Lisa Dunaway (Fair Trade Winter Park) and Ryan Midden (Fair Trade Boston), this webinar gave an overview of the Go Bananas for Fair Trade initiative, and provided tips on how to turn the upcoming Fair Trade month in October into a success in your community.

What topics did this webinar address?

In anticipation and preparation for Fair Trade month, this webinar provided campaign organizers and volunteers with tips and tools on how to bring their communities together this October by hosting fun-filled and educational Fair Trade events. The webinar shed light on many aspects of event planning, such as:

  • How to get involved in the Go Bananas Challenge in October
  • How to apply for the Fair Trade Towns USA Small Grant Program
  • How to effectively utilize the power of social media for planning Fair Trade events

We hope you enjoy the recording, and be sure to share it with your committee!

You must log in to join the discussion. If you are not already a member registering is easy.
