Attend and learn more about best practices to consider when influencing purchasers!

In 2012 we rolled out purchasing policies in two towns and  and two colleges in the U.S. and have used the results to construct new resources to increase institutional Fair Trade purchasing.

Following the testing of procurement policies, Fair Trade Campaigns evaluated findings and experiences from both the organizer and purchaser perspective and built a purchasing guide for procurement officials to ease the transition to Fair Trade products. We also created a guide for organizers across the country on the purchasing process, this resource helps facilitate the process of building partnerships with officials. These two guides are the Fair Trade Purchasing Guide & the Campaigners’ Guide – Passing a Procurement Policy.

The Webinar will focus on best practices to consider when influencing purchasing at the municipality or campus levels and will be made available shortly.
