Fair Trade Campaigns is hiring eight Fellows to support our work advocating for Fair Trade in communities and on college campuses across the country.

We’re looking for two passionate, skilled organizers in each of the following regions: Mid Atlantic, Northeast, Great Lakes and Southwest.* The fellowship program lasts 14 months, from August 2018 to October 2019, and we offer a modest stipend.

*See details about the four regions below.

“The fellowship helped me become a stronger advocate and find my voice to firmly stand behind a cause I believe in. The opportunity to participate in the Fair Trade Campaigns fellowship has helped me get a better sense of what kind of career I might want to pursue.”
2016-17 Fair Trade Campaigns Fellow

In this role, you’ll have a chance to work side-by-side with organizers in communities and on campuses in a specific region to help grow the Fair Trade movement, and have a lot of fun in the process!

In order to increase the impact and visibility of Fair Trade Campaigns, Fellows in each region will oversee a Regional Leadership Team consisting of four to six volunteers. Fellows and Regional Leadership Teams will work closely together and will have access to training opportunities and resources, including a leadership training in Fall 2018.

For a better idea of the kind of work that Fellows and Leadership Teams take on, please take a look at the Workplan of the Regional Leadership Team.

For more information about the fellowship program and to apply, see the full description here.

“The Fellowship position is a fulfilling opportunity for anyone who is interested
in Fair Trade, international development, community organizing,
and advocacy work.”
