Fair Trade Campaigns is hiring eight Fellows to support our work advocating for Fair Trade in communities and on college campuses across the country.

We’re looking for two passionate, skilled organizers in each of the following regions: Mid Atlantic, Northeast, Great Lakes and Southwest.* The fellowship program lasts 14 months, from August 2019 to October 2020, and we offer a modest stipend.

*See details about the four regions below.

The skills and relationships that I have gained through this Fellowship have left me prepared for my next steps into the world, and I’m so thrilled to be incorporating Fair Trade into that journey.”
2017-18 Fair Trade Campaigns Fellow

In this role, you’ll have a chance to work side-by-side with organizers in communities and on campuses in a specific region to help grow the Fair Trade movement, and have a lot of fun in the process!

In order to increase the impact and visibility of Fair Trade Campaigns, Fellows in each region will oversee a Regional Leadership Team consisting of four to six volunteers. Fellows and Regional Leadership Teams will work closely together and will have access to training opportunities and resources, including a leadership training in Fall 2019.

For a better idea of the kind of work that Fellows and Leadership Teams take on, please take a look at the Workplan of the Regional Leadership Team.

For more information about the fellowship program and to apply, see the full description here.

My fellowship with Fair Trade Campaigns was a priceless opportunity. I gained credible skills in grassroots organizing, confidence in my own ability to make lasting change, and a ton of experience in the working world.”
