Fair Trade Chocolate at Halloween

Our church is committed to handing out fair trade chocolate in October and educating the congregation in the Sunday bulletin about the importance of fair trade chocolate. We will use these chocolates to encourage people to come shop at our yearly Conscious Christmas, a one day fair trade shopping event.

Long Beach Christian Fellowship has recently switched over to serving fair trade, organic coffee on Sunday mornings after church.

The True Cost is a documentary about fast fashion and how to shop fair trade. It also discusses the environmental impact of waste and encourages buying organic, sustainable clothing. October 20th, 7-10pm at the Art Theater in Long Beach.

Conscious Christmas is our 5th annual fair trade shopping event in Long Beach to provide a natural onramp to support amazing companies combatting labor and human trafficking through their eco friendly, people matter goods. Every purchase, 10% will go directly to support the Long Beach Human Trafficking Task Force. The event takes place Saturday, November 19th at HOWL.
