Congregation Beth David has board policies regarding use of only fair trade coffee and chocolate for any event that would include the use of coffee or chocolate. Congregation Beth David gets their fair trade coffee donated by Coastal Peaks coffee.

SLO UCC brews Coastal Peaks Black Rabbit which is both Fair Trade and organic. SLO UCC also brews tea from Whole Foods (Fair Trade and organic, too) and it is certified Fair Trade by Fair Trade USA.

So far, they have only purchased regular coffee, but plan to extend their contribution to include decaf once coffee hour resumes.
