Fair Trade Campaigns is hiring three Fellows to support our work advocating for Fair Trade in communities and on college campuses across the country.

We’re looking for passionate, skilled organizers in each of the following regions: Eastern, Midwest, and Western.* The fellowship program lasts 14 months, from March 2022 to May 2023, and we offer a modest stipend.

*See details about the three regions below.

“My time working with Fair Trade Campaigns as one of the Southwest Regional Fellows was a life changing experience. I have cared about sustainability for years, yet never really felt as though I had a niche until I learned about Fair Trade and conscious consumerism. Working as a Fellow gave me the opportunity to meet many enthusiastic advocates, all working towards a more ethical world, and I will forever be grateful for those connections that continue on after my time with the fellowship ends.

– 2018-19 Fair Trade Campaigns Fellow

In this role, you’ll have a chance to work side-by-side with organizers in communities and on campuses in a specific region to help grow the Fair Trade movement, and have a lot of fun in the process!

In order to increase the impact and visibility of Fair Trade Campaigns, Fellows will oversee work closely with the National Leadership Team consisting of volunteers from across the country.

“I have enjoyed being a fellow as it has given me the opportunity to learn more about Fair Trade, how to organize, how to support other activists, and how to successfully work in a remote environment. There is a lot of room in the weekly tasks for creative exploration or for taking on a variety of projects. If you are interested in environmental and/or social justice or organizing in general, this is a great opportunity to get some real-world experience and see what areas you want to continue working on.
