Fair Trade Coffee Hour and Baked Goods, Sunday May 4th

St John’s Episcopal Church Fair Trade Millennium Development Goals Team is hosting Fair Trade Coffee Hours after worship on May 4th to share FT goodies and recipes, promote WFTD activities and the start up of the local Farmers’ Market Season! Looking forward to partnering with MAFTTI, Mankato Area Fair Trade Town Initiative in our efforts!

Fair Trade Cookie Baking Event

To celebrate World Fair Trade Day, the Community Service Center will be hosting a cookie baking event where students can come together to participate in making delicious cookies with Fair Trade ingredients. Students can come learn about Fair Trade and also sample how good it tastes!

2nd./1st. is a Downtown Church and Court Steet Methodist Church is our neighbor. We provide Fair Trade Coffee and eco-friendly cups to Court Street UMC, to use at their Thanksgiving Dinner. We also cook an debone turkeys for them.

The Chocholic Frolic

This is a benefit for The ARC of Winnebago County. It is 40 plus chocolate vendors-giving away chocolate. With the help of Equal Exchange, we give away mini Chocolate bars and lots of education.

Eco-Palm Sunday

We celebrate Palm Sunday with eco-Palms. Eco-Palms are sustainably grown and harvested in Guatemala and Mexico. The forests in which these palms reside are being protected from agriculture and logging because of the palms residence.
